Sounds like your enjoying your new home.
Regarding my PW project, I've put the '50
in the shop for the winter restoration. I have all the front sheet metal removed.I've re-arced the front springs, added two extra springs per side,new bushings and pins.
The motor ran fine,but I stripped off every bolt-on part,removed the paint and painted the block medium gray.I installed a spin on oil filter,12volt alternater.Found a two barrel manifold,and split the exhaust manifold.Straightened the winch frame and bumpers.It's going to be painted deep gray with black running boards and fenders.Hope to have everything but the bed done by spring.
