I used to live in California from 1951 to 1970 when I left. It was a lot of fun in So. Cal in the 60s as a kid and teenager. Something happen in the 70's and it never was the same. I left but did not take any money with me because I did not have a chance to realy make any since I was only 18 when I left. I concider myself a Wadhingtonian now, when I have visited California I am so uptight I just have to leave I can't keep up with the pace! It is a lifestyle I could never live again. My brothers and sister still live there and are trapped into thinking it is a great place yet it is shortning there lives. When they visit me they say boy I would love to live here but the stores are to far away the roads need to be fixed, it is to quite I can't sleep. The mimuite they arrive they want to go to town seems like they can't just sit and enjoy the lifestyle? Mark H.
