herman,

glad you like the truck. it is a wonderful vehicle, but as explained owning two trucks was becoming more work than hobby. i decided to keep my command car as i restored it from the ground up AND it fits in my garage. the m37 - especially the one i built - is a far superior vehicle. hopefully i will build a shop/ barn in the next few years and get back into the m series. do me a favor and give me first crack at buying my truck back if you ever decide to sell it. you might want to have the collar turned down on a lathe as opposed to grinding the bellhousing. that way you can fit the dust cover to its flat mating surface. i think that you will have to modify the dust cover by marking and cutting out the part that hits the shaft. once you cut the offending part out, weld in a flat piece, making sure the flywheel clears. OR hit it with a hammer. either way the gloss black paint is getting messed up.

have fun,

mannyc
