you have to have the vehicle at the RCMP station & THEN get a RIGOROUS out of province safety. Registry offices are private, & very helpful as long as you pay the $$$. Now there is talk of a provincial police force, I sure hope NOT. Mounties are among the top if not the top cops in the world, are interested in stopping crime & not if your LF tire is showing some wear!! You know what I mean EH? They are not out to make the Govt. rich by stopping & ticketing just for the revenue. That being said I just got a $300.00 touch for not coming to a complete stop. This dude should not have been in our little town of 2000, & was transferred out of here a couple of years ago to highway patrol. He was here on PERSONAL reasons & probably wanted to justify his whereabouts. NO comunity spirit EH!! End of rant. Regards George
