I had a '73 360 3/4 4x4 that would out power and out fuel mileage the original 383 in my '67 and the 390 in my brothers Ford. I can do better than any of them with the way my '67 is set up now.

My former father-in-law had a '75 318 3/4 4x4 with a 203 transfer case in it and it worked fine other than trying to jerk the steering wheel out of your hand going around corners.
