my younger brother is a adjuster for a service contract company ( not dodge) so i have some insight. first of all depends on model and erea of the country. believe it or not some models have more problems in other reigons. for instance a grand cherokee that may have no problems in teh front or rear ends in calif have a hi mortality rate in teh eastern united states.may be the colder winters with the gear oil i am not sure.my brother is having a leakage problem with his transfer case in his durango and it depends on which case of maybe 5 different cases they used in that rig of that year. maybe depending on plant that the vehicle was built.nissan has 3 different warranties and they all cover various things and you realy need to sit and read through them to make certian of what is covered.( bring some asprin when you do)ballance that out with how long you plan on owning the vehicle and the fact that the sales weasel department sell the warranties.so they are going to try to ream you for them like they do for the permaplate and othere things they try to backload on teh deal. anyway my semi misinformed drivel for asturday morning steve
