im putting a helitool p/s kit in my 3/4 ton command car. i mounted the bracket and the box without having to grind the frame. i sacrificed the box's core value to do so. the box is correct as specified in rays kit. i now have the box mounted and need to reconnect the box to the pitman arm. trouble is that the pitman arm opening on the command is larger than the specified box. ray's kit workd for both trucks 3/4 ton and ffpws. i might be the first using the kit on a 3/4. question is - did the 3/4 ton use a different pitman arm than the ffpw? it appears to be the case. is the ffpw shaft and spline count the same as the m37? if the ffpw pitman is the same as the m37 in the count and opening, can i replace my pitman with one from a ffpw.
im looking for advice on the above.
