Years back when I purchased my first WM300, I rolled out the windshield about 1.5" just to see if it would work.
Shortly after this I started recieving the PWA and read all the articles on windshields.
It was obvious to me then that parts would be hard to come by if I ever needed to fix it
It would be cool to have a roll out windshield but it was not really needed and could cause problems if dirt ,birds ,or bees came flying in my eyes or face so, I decided not to use it as a rollout at all. I opened it again, cleaned all the surfaces(rubber seal and cab surface) took black silicon and spread a thin coat on both surfaces,let dry,
then put a bead where they would contact and closed it very tighly and let dry several days. It has yet to leak!
