Yep --- WWII period of history was'nt even whispered in our, (and probably many others), history classes.
Many times now I wish I had spoke to my father about it.
Even better would have been my uncle that only after his death did we learn that he followed Patton thru Europe.
So yes --- get those old timers talking before history is lost forever !!!
