I hope to the same thing, except I'll use the Jeep 4.0 (242 ci). Factory fuel injection, etc, etc. Novak makes adaptors for the NP435, as well as the NV trannies.
There are some cheap kits for punching a 4.0 into a 4.5 (or better) that boost the output a bunch. Can't beat a straight six for torque...
