Have a good trip! It sounds like a lot of fun.

The truck pictured is in Astoria, Oregon. That's the NW corner pretty close to where the Columbia hits the Pacific. If you have an empty trailer for a leg of your journey, I'd be curious what you would charge me to haul this thing to Grand Junction. I could pick it up there in January. Ely, Nevada is an alternate destination that could work for me.

I paid the guy what he was asking for the whole truck. He agreed to remove and ship the auxiliary transmission to me if I couldn't find a way to get the entire truck home. It looks likely that I will not be able to get the truck home for less than the truck is worth, so the truck could be free to anyone who wants to go get it.

Since we made our arrangement, the seller may have made plans to sell a few select parts, but he really needs to get rid of the whole truck. He said he is going to start disassembling it this weekend, so it is not too late to negotiate for specific parts in which you may be interested.

And thanks again for hauling my carryall seat form San Antonio to Kansas City. I got it reupholstered, and plan on riding it all the way to Jairfield in June.
