Trucks tend to have the dipstick in the pan as the pan is reversed from the passenger cars. The passenger cars have the dip stick in the lower edge of the block. My B1 2WD has the crank jaws and an access hole in the front grille. They did that until at least '53 on the 2wd trucks.
