I just found all the stuff I wanted on the Dodge Web Site and then after that I want around to all the Dodge Delaers in Town and got the best price. And since I factory ordered it, I got a really good price on it because they didn't have to put into inventory.
As far a Power Steering and Brakes go, You have no choice. The power brakes are also hydro-boost and run off of the power steering anyway. Has to bebecause of the boost the engine produces would not allow for vacuum brakes.
And you do have to change models to delete the power adjustable pedals. You need to get the Laramie package. Otherwise, just go for the SLT.
This is just my opition, so you can take it or leave it, but I got the 3:73 axle ratio and not the 4:10's. I test drove two different trucks with the different axle ratio's, and the 4:10 truck roared when driving on the highway. The rpm's on the 3:73 truck was alot less on the highway.
I got the HO diesel with the 6 spd manual, and when I picked up my WDX in New Mexico and brought it to Alberta, the diesel performed wonderfully. It would pull the trailer and the WDX up a 6% grade on cruise and not loose speed.
Price is irrelevent for me too speak of because living in Canada, everything is expensive. But I bought mine and with the powered side steps, and it came to a little over $50k. I paided $45k for it.
