Brakes

Hey,

I'm curious as my brakes are super soft and spongy on my 76 W200 3/4 ton 4x4. I know the pads, rotors, drums and wheel cylinders need to be rebuilt. However, the fluid hasn't been flushed in probly 15+ years.

For ease of flushing the fluid from the lines could I simply use air pressure and blow out the front lines together, and refill by pumping the pedal?? I would do the same for the rear lines. I have been told to bleed the lines by pumping the pedal and draining pressure from each wheel cylinder individually, and this seems painfully slow. Not of course that having a solid brake feel all the time isn't worth it! But, I don't have that kind of time working two jobs. So looking for a shortcut. I know I can't use air to repressurize the lines! But any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
