Unless you have good medical insurance, a total rebuild should be performed. The rubber tends to rot rapidly on these systems when not in use. The piston cups in the master cylinder, and at each wheel cylinder, and any rubber hoses, will soon fail if put back into service without being replaced. If the truck has set for a long period of time and did not have Dot5 fluid, then there is a better than 50/50 chance that you also have water and thus corrosion in the brake lines and they may have to be replaced to prevent flaking rust from clogging the system.
