It was not too many years ago my oldest daughter and I started down the county road for her first driving lesson with her new learners' permit. I said "turn left up there at that next road." Since she never let up on the gas, I thought she had decided to forget about it. When we were about two carlenghts from the side road, she leaned over the wheel and turned the wheel as tight as she could...I yelled "Slow Down!" and she then hit the brakes--we almost rolled. She said--"you just said turn--you didn't say slow down first." I was shaking too hard to speak.
