Square steel tubing

I'm trying to come up with a way to support the front of my Town Wagon to make it easy to work on, and keep it mobile. I went dumpster diving and pulled a stainless hospital gurney out of the dumpster at work, it's a nice unit with big casters on the corners, and I have the bottom half of the gurney holding up the back half of the Townie.

I'm thinking of welding a square frame out of square tubing and putting a swivel caster on each corner. Then going vertical with two pieces of square tubing to support a horizontal tube that will fasten to the front body mounts. Having never attempted this before, I'm figuring on welding in gussets at the corners to add support. (Please tell me if I'm going about this all wrong)

Any suggestions on what size tubing would work best for this project? Tube size and wall thickness are the questionable things. I'm not sure what the weight of the body is. Over-engineering is usually preferred.
