You have your $$ and that is ALL that is important. If he can't pick it up this season SO WHAT??? He can come get it in the spring!
Find a place with no tree's and let it sit.
He paid $10,000 for it so I doubt he is going to forget about it.
I could care less how long a truck sits here after it's bought (and paid for) gives me an excuse to go start it once in awhile and soak up the ambiance.
I have no doubt you have a phone # for this fellow?? Give him a call, if not dial information? Maybe he died and the wife know's nothing about the truck and could use the extra income from selling it (God forbid!)
Just RELAX! and leave it alone it's not worth worrying about since you've been paid.
