My wife has her computer at our house on telephone dial-up...when I need to bid on something I drive 45 minutes to my work each direction just to use my cable connection. You don't realize how bad a dial-up connection is until you try DSL or cable for a while.

No need to have two computers Todd, just open the same auction in two different windows & prepare two different bids if that's what you want to do but it's really not necessary. Just prepare your highest bid...the one at which you won't care anymore if you get outbid.
If you're outbid by one dollar & you think to yourself, "I would have paid $1 more!"...then you didn't bid high enough.
