Hey Norn,
I lived in California in the 80s and came home to Vermont for Christmas one year. Thought it would be great to bring my friends backk some Real Vermont syrup. Everyone was really happy to get it. Months later I got the real story. A bunch of these phillistenes actually cut it 50/50 with aunt jemmima to make it taste "right".
What a bunch of losers! Oh Well their loss.
