Sean: Don't think M37 bumper will work for you.
I had same problem when restoring my WDX47. Replacement split bumper was going to run around $250.00 used, so I built my own. Bought some 1/4" sheet metal from a metal supplier for $8.00 and had a friend weld it up for me for $20.00. Looked like original bumper when I finished with it. You can also make your own gussets. Have fun.
