Brakes are not that complicated. You could do them yourself if you wished. Do one side at a time in case you forget how things go back together. Get a manual if you haven't already. The hard part is getting the drums off. There are screws that hold the drun to the axel. They rust on. Do not use a screw driver to break them loose - you'll likely strip the screw head. Use a impact driver. Sears has the for ~$14.00 It looks like a chisle that takes a screw driver bit in the tip. When the end it struck, the impact driver spins the tip slighty to loosen or tighten the screw depending which direction you put pressure on it to spin. The force hitting the impact driver keeps the tool on the screw so you don't slip off and strip it.

I highly recomend Military Vechile Magazine Issue #67. On page48 there is an excellant atricle about replacing wheel seals. It also covers removing brake drums and brake hardware.

Part #'s - use up useful part # from the "Best of the Forums" directory at the top the Joe's forum to get most of the #'s you'll need from NAPA.

Good luck.
