The company I have in mind makes street rod parts. There are lots of small companies that do. The mold could be made in a home garage if somebody had a perfect set of fenders. Their '48-'53 Dodge 2wd pickup fenders only cost $135. I doubt these sell much faster than PW fenders would. I don't think they even make them up until someone orders a set. Tooling for short production runs in FRP just doesn't cost much. Hey, fiberglass is good enough for KW & Peterbilt.
