When it runs dry, what do you do to get going again?
how old is the hose/line between the pump and the carb?
Is it flaking stuff into you needle valve or blocking
the line internally? Is the vent in the top of your carb plugged
by something, like a bug nest? It happens here all
the time. We've got some kind of little bee that
builds nests with bouganville leaves in every little
round hole they can find. like fuel lines, carb vents
vacuum lines, etc. They'll drive you crazy if you
don't run a wire or high pressure air through everything
which has been sitting for any time. Symptoms: carb
flooding from stuck needle valves or fuel starvation
from blocked lines. Sometimes both as some fuel
gets by the leaf nest, allowing idle and flooding
but not enough to run. Fun, uh-huh!
