Don't tear it down yet Gary! Mine ran fine, just low on power. compression not higher than 60 psi any cylinder. Tear down revealed Top compression rings broken, exhaust vlaves pitted badly, and head gasket leaking between cylinders! I can't believe how well it ran under those conditions. I'm also suprised at how much the rebuild will cost, even doing it myself. My Dad always taught me air, fuel, spark. I'm not much of a mechanic, but it's never failed me. Course, the spark's gotta get there on time, so check the timing.
