Galen, if it's the typical "crack in the elbow",
you might want to try brazing it on the vehicle.
This happened to the manifold on my M37. Since
it didn't seem I had anything to lose, I tried
v-ing it out a bit with a grinder, then brazed it.
I "preheated" the manifold by running the engine
up to temp, but I don't know if that really helped
or not.
But, to make a long story short, it's been over a
year, and it's still holding. Not pretty, mind
you, but effective.
