I'm still looking for a 1946-68 WDX-WM300 power wagon. I've called about several but the prices and or condition are unrealistic. I'm not going to pay $5000 for a trailer turnip. That was the price quoted to me for a PW with heavy oil burning, many dents, heavy rust, missing pieces and so on.
I'm looking to spend around $1000-2000 for a running Power Wagon. I do not expect or really want a show piece. Just a decent truck. Some repair is fine. I prefer this anyway as after I rebuild something I feel it is truly mine. If you know of a PW in the S.Illinois, S.W. Indiana, or W. Kentucky area, please E-mail me. One I called about for $2500 needed to have tow dollies put under the wheels to move it. On the other hand, one i called about was $2000 and just needed some brake work to be driveable. Nothing spectacular but 1000 miles is too far to drive to look at something. I'd like to strike a happy medium with someone who wants their truck to go to a good home.
