Hi,

I believe the B/RB motors used a 'big' torque converter snout through all their years. The slant and SB motors used a smaller version early, then switched to the larger version mid-late 60s. An engine intended for use with the small snout converter will not be able to use this roller bearing. I don't know what the flathead 6 uses.
This bearing works with 833 transmissions, but I don't know if it works with any others. Compare the dimensions of what you need with the bearing and MAYBE it will work. This can be a real problem solver in the right applications.

for what it's worth,
mark
