I guess I've been living dangerously for 27 years and didn't know it? I put Vavoline 30wt oil in a new Dayton compressor in 1977. I check it every 30 days, the original oil is still up to the top, clean as a whistle. The electric motor has burned bearings, but the compressor end had run like a champ without problem one all these years. If I change to the "special" oil will anyone give me a 30 year warantee?? ha!ha!
