when you convert to a pertronix ignition, one of the great things you can do is to eliminate the resistor. you must specify that you will not be using a resistor and they will tell you which coil to use. i did it in my 360 m37 and loved eliminating a trouble spot.
call pertronix for the correct part numbers. the pertronix coil is only a little more than any other premium coil.
