Now I know what to look for. I'm in Naperville, IL (near Chicago)
I don't know if the engine ever really ran in the WC. The radiator hoses don't match up, and the sludge on the dipstick is pretty heavy. Kind of a lousy job of putting it in, too. I'll be checking the engine out more thoroughly this weekend to see if it's seized or not. If it's not a boat anchor, I'll start looking for a starter and distributor, which it needs.
If it's a chunk of metal, it'll just further my plans to get ahold of the needed and correct frame crossmembers and Dodge engine, transmission, t/c and other stuff.
