Matt's second truck was based on a stock frame with a short bed.
Personally I prefer the short bed like the original with the fenders extending into the rear of the cab as the original conversions were done but most guys when asked seemed most interested in a P/W Crewcab with an 8'bed.
I can tell you first hand from driving Crewcab #1 with a 7' bed that it's wheelbase is not conducive to off-road driving.
I bet it takes more than 60' to turn it around.
It looks cool though & as Jesse James says on Monster Garage...that's really the only thing that counts! Ha Ha!
