Check the short wire from the coil to the cap. Make sur it is well seated. Also check to see if you broke it. Is the cap defective. Is the center post there. I have seen them with out it. Is the cap cracked or dirty and shoring out. Also check to see if you disturbed the points or ballast when you were in there.
