Trans mission, engine and many other parts are date stamped. Watch out for replaced parts. Most of my parts are dated 1951 but it is a 1952 truck by serial number. I figure that I have an early 52 PW. Dodge and others stock piled parts and often the date stamp preceeds the truck year. My transmission in my 52 is dated 1948. I am not sure that is original I really suspect that the transfercase is not original as is is olive drab in color. I suspect trans and transfer are not original but everything else appears to be. With the exception of the mirrors.
