I plan to put a belt pulley setup on my '47 WDX, but it wont be the authentic NP one... Those are selling higher than what I can afford right now. I actually plan to go one better. It will have rear belt pulley AND PTO. The IH Farmall A-B-C series tractors have the belt pulley and PTO in one unit! It looks to be a fairly easy installation that would call for drilling holes to mount and run the PTO shafts from the trans. For a govenor, I will probably scrounge up a belt drive off an old industrial Chrysler Flathead six. There are plenty of those around here in old Power Units, Combines etc. It would be factory authentic, but will be perfectly functional and neat to look at.

I would be interested in Fred Coldwell's details regarding the Ford N-series tractor belt pulley modified for the PW. I have a N-series belt pulley also..
