Since design/mechanical engineers are inherently lazy. Isn't it just possible that the belt pulley used by Dodge might have been installed on other Ag. equipment?
I have found new process gears and equipment in all sorts and brands of tractors and vehicles. Considering the foot print of the PW pintle i.e. non standard , mightn't the Dodge engineers adapted the pintle mount to the pulley? Wouldn't it be easier to design a new pintle hook than a belt drive? I could be wrong , but what if I'm right? I've seen those right angle drives on a lot of tractors could they be the same unit?
Just my perspective, warped as it is.
