I've heard there's an outfit in Salt Lake that does that to M35s and sells them to the yuppies for $15 grand. Somebody else told me the cheap way to do it is just use a set of front springs for the rear. The front springs pretty well max out the front tires on an M35A2, so I'm sure they're stout enough to carry an empty chopped off bed in the rear. One thing to keep in mind is the frame will have basically zero flex, and the suspension doesn't have any tremedous travel in it, and the normal Rockwell axles aren't lockers, so it might be hard to get traction on all tires with a rig like that.
