As I remember, the last big fire down here was around 1993 and I watched the flames leap hundreds of feet in the air as it roared towards Malibu. Cooler weather, reversing winds, and a higher humidity should be kicking in today to slow these fires down. I hope all remain safe. This fire should act as another reminder to us all to make an emergency plan for the family. The next fire, earthquake, etc, could be in our back yard.
