i know that there are purists on the page. i like fully restored vehicles & modifieds as well. the both have a place in the hobby. ive had them both. for the real drivers of these trucks, some nods to modernization are acceptable.
ive done pertronix installs, hei conversions, alternator coversions, stainless fuel lines, electric fuel pumps (backup) etc.
id be interested in the spin on filter conversion.
ive also thought about a EFI system. has anyone done a FI system on a 230?
its interesting to talk these things through as you sometimes find new ideas for your truck.
a talk with a old timer produced a brass water distribution tube for my engine. he was an old boat enthusiast and used both the chrysler ace and crown - 230 & 265 engines in his boats.
id like to know what things you have done to personalize / modernize your engines.
