Would be clearer and less pixeled if you told imageevent to default at original size when you open a picture from the thumbnails.
If you want the pictures to be bigger, save them as a bigger size before you upload them instead of having imageevent to it.
That way your pictures will be MUCH clearer!
Just to give an example, look at this picture:

Then this one:
http://photos.imageevent.com/jeickhof/washingtontrailride/websize/wtr20.jpg
The first picture is smaller, but much clearer, the second picture was "enlarged" by imageevent, and all that means is making the pixels larger.
None of this is intended as critisism, I REALY enjoy seeing your pictures! I just want to see better detail of the cool places you go!!
I know you can set those settings when you set up the album, take a look at one of mine to see the difference in clarity:
