Tom, my dad has some range land that is surrounded by farce screw-us land. Our access road has a locked gate at the county road. Many times, during hunting season I've had to drag rigs back away from the gate just to get in. The road slopes into the creek slightly and if you drag them back far enough they wind up in H2O! You just need to be gone when they come back. They usually have guns and townies don't have a sense of humor nor do they understand that there IS private property in the timber.
