1953 Power Wagon with 4,500 original miles

Original bill of sale to Adams County Fire District on Othello, Washington.

The Good....
Runs, drives and stops beautifully
Original seat, sun visors, armrests. Headliner is new.
Original floor mat (very good cond.)
Original paint on interior, re-sprayed (exterior orig. color)
Original wood in bed (good cond)
Original cardboard in glovebox
Michelin XZL tires with spare mounted on side
Doors open and close like new
New commercial 8 volt battery
Original truckmaster heater. Gets hot and defroster works!
Original ash tray
Matching date codes on winch and wheels ('52)
Original vacuum wipers that work
Truck runs and drives very good especially considering its 50 years old and mostly original and rustfree!!!
The Issues....
Although the bed is original it was cut lengthwise by the Fire Dept. to accommodate a water tank, pump, and other gear. It was welded back together even though it was done correctly, you can tell it was cut.
There are several small holes in the dash for switches that ran the siren, lights and hand held radio (only if they could have seen 50 years into the future).
The starter is the solenoid type so there is a push button on the dash instead of the foot pedal which this can be converted back but I prefer the ease of the push button.
Replacement head light switch
Standard power wagon fuel gauge...it bad order.
The front bumper is not perfect but in very good shape.
The original tailgate was discarded by the Fire Dept. I have a replacement that is not on the truck which is in average at best condition.
The truck sold new for about $3200.00 in 1953 to the Fire dept which I have the original bill of sale which is still in very good condition and the fact that this trucks history is amazing!
The description is very honest and complete. I am not a highly educated person on Power Wagons but if you have any additional questions I will be glad to respond in a honest and responsible manner. The price is very fair and non-negotiable at $13,750.00 which is less than I have in it but I have too many vehicles my wife states.

Contact: Bryan Wann at mcnh@alltel.net and the truck is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
