OK, understood. The original tires were 9.00x18 bias. I don't know the original weight of the tire/wheel combination and would have difficulty finding out as the truck came to me with 20" wheels and some very old bias 8.25x20 tires.
Just for the heck of it here's some info on the tires I'm considering:
Goodyear G124 (radial)- 108lb 40.3" diam
Firestone SAT (bias) - 80.7lb 41.4" diam
Hercules HDTL (bias) - 83.8lb 41" diam
Considering the location of the weight of a radial I see that not only is it a 75% increase in weight but this weight is also distributed differently(negatively for my app).
