Chewie and Mike, I tried to get some blanks from Alcoa 20 yrs ago, no luck. I've heard or seen an Alcoa ad in the last few years which indicates they will sell wheel blanks, probably to resellers of their choice, who are qualified and certified to build wheels, and are sufficiently bonded against liability to Alcoa. But there must be a way!
This was one of the "walls" I ran into when I got off on the 20" Chevy Rim conversion for the Dodges so long ago. I'm happy with my work, but I'd like to see the various Alcoa blanks available to all the Dodge "aftermarket". It would be so easy, it just requires a change in perspective by Alcoa and their distributors. This is something I will keep in the back of my mind until I catch "Alcoa" at a show or in person. There has to be a way!
Thanx Will Liebsdcher
