well the linkagae thing was more of a by the way thing, but it is affecting things, or was until i tightened it down, the pedal was moving sideways a little and making it very difficult to do anything. i figured i'd have to do a clutch, soon anyway was hoping not to have to this soon, but oh well. at least i'll have a new one in there for before winter! thanks, Jason
