There is an ATHS truck show sponsored by NAPA that the NCVPA attends scheduled for November 1, 2003 in Greensboro, NC. The show usually gets going around 9:00AM and runs until 4:00.
I will be there when things get started to help ensure that the MV's all get parked together. Some of the other guys in the NCMVPA who are participating in a parade near Raleigh are planning to drive over after the parade and will arrive around lunch or a little later...
The NAPA Warehouse in Greensboro is located at the intersedtion of NC68 and Gallimore Dairy Road. From I-40, take the NC68 exit (Airport Exit) and go 1.5 miles south (away from the airport) and the show will be on your right.
Note: The NC68/Airport exit is west of the I40/I85 interchange in Greensboto.
Registration fee is $5 per truck with the first 100 trucks at the show getting a dash plaque.
It's always a bunch of fun since the NAPA folks are real excited to have the hundred or so antique trucks in the warehouse parking lot and they and the guys who own all those antique big rigs get excited about our green machines... The folks at the Navy/Marine Corps Reserve Center also get excited about the green vehicles and come by to swap tales...
