Glad to hear you got home safe and sound. Really amazing that you came all that way, and good thing too. The "McGuyver"'d fuel pump on Jason's truck would have gotten us back to base just fine, but with the 16 oz. Gatorade tank, it would have taken quite a few fuel stops and more time (in the rain and dark!) than using your TW instead! Makes for interesting stories...facing adversity on the trail... and everyone pitching in to solve a problem. That's what it's all about.
Terry and I had a really great time. Many thanks to Suzanne See for opening up her lovely home for a bunch of soaking wet, mud-covered PW junkies, and to Ken and Maureen for all the work and expense of putting on such a successful event. May I also extend thanks to "Model-T" Tim and my sis-in-law Joann for helping set up dinner while we were having an adventure on the trail. And to Ken's brother Frank for being the ultimate trail guide. I could go on and on with all the details about what a good time the Green Mountain Rally was, but let's just say if Ken takes on a "second-ever", anyone who can should definitely plan on attending!
