I prefer diesel obviously, but they can be a
real nuisance in the sand and mud, and a gas engines will perform better in this terrain.
A diesel's torque causes it to bury itself, by creating this damn jerking, lugging down occurance. Makes you feel that you are about to toss a driveshaft, or blow the rear end. I dont like that feeling.
That being said, I like being able to idle up
inclines, and fuel consumption savings.
