Ah, you may be right, but I was comparing the 270 to the engine found in Canadian Chevs which was splash fed and awful.
The 270 and it's gearbox is a very superior engine if you need torque and HP. There's no doubt that the OHV setup really works, and I'm saying that as a dedicated Dodge fan.
