I'm not positive about this but I think one of the reasons Michelin does not sell them anymore has to be for liability reasons. I remember receiving an email from a Michelin rep. listed on Cabell's tire page warning me that these tires were not road rated tires and that they were designed to be used strictly as off road tires.

I'm not disputing that fact but my guess is they are aware of the great interest these tires have and from a legal standpoint they cannot be assured that they are being used as they were intended all the time. With the legal climate the way it is in the US they must be scared of getting sued after all 4 of your 38" tires get smoked and your 10,000lb sled full of gin poles flattens a minivan of blind kids on their way to church. Anyone agree?
